ZeebiZoo Prototype(2014)

THIS ARTICLE IS A WORK IN PROGRESS

 

I created this prototype for ZeebiZoo in two (2) days, including the art and animation. It was a last-minute clone of PBnGames' original Zeebi\Goomba Lab GGJ project.

 

Tech -

- Grid-based pathfinding and obstacle avoidance.
TBD

- Text-based level editor.
Based on the original design in the Goomba Lab project, written by Andrew Murray, Andrew Brockert, Greg Kinneman and Darren Torpey. The level editor displays a 96 character string in the form of a 12x8 grid corresponding with the playing field. I reimplemented it here (poorly, some might say!)

 

Prototype -

This was only ever published for the Unity Webplayer, and is very buggy.
